Current Project: Baby Blanket #3 for 2011

So right now I'm working on Baby Blanket # 3 for 2011.  This has been the slowest year for baby blankets, but it gives me a chance to go in more depth to create a unique baby blanket.  This one is for a baby boy, and the colors are

duckling yellow,    baby blue,

 cream,    navy blue,

 medium blue,    tan, and

 snow white. 

All these colors come from Red Heart yarns, and all but the navy and the tan are the baby yarns.  The navy and the tan are the economy yarns, but they are soft enough that they blend well with the baby yarns.  The pattern is a simple granny square pattern, with alternating colors. 

Pictures of the squares, and the final afgan will be posted soon.

And so it begins

I decided, since I do so much in regards to arts and crafts, I was going to start a whole blog on arts & crafts.  Why not, right? 

So to introduce myself, I'll explain some of what I prefer and like to do when it comes to arts & crafts. 

• Crochet
• Knit
• Paint
• Cross Stitch
• Sew
• Liquid Stained Glass (though I want to learn how to do the real stuff too)
• Anything that uses glue

I look forward to sharing what craft projects I am working on, and what I hope to be learning soon.
